Our Team
René-Jean Lavallée, Eng, M.Sc
René-Jean Lavallée, Eng, M.Sc. A. Holds a degree in Chemical engineering from Polytechnique de Montréal since 1994. He also holds a master’s degree in applied science in industrial combustion and heat treatment from the same institution. He is president and founder of Valtech Energy.
Over the past twenty-two years, he has developed and carried out many major projects aimed at increasing productivity, reducing energy consumption, and ensuring the compliance and safety of industrial processes and equipment.
He has conducted numerous design reviews of existing facilities, with the aim of optimizing operating conditions, identifying the most relevant strategies and ensuring their compliance.
Other achievements :
- Supervision of the start-up of numerous projects to modernize and bring thermal processes and equipment into compliance;
- Participation in the design and development of numerous technologies in the field of industrial combustion and thermal processes.
Alec Frappé, M.Sc.A. CMVP
Alec Frappé, M.Sc.A. CMVP, holds a graduate degree in specialized energy studies with the mention «Qualité des Services Énergétiques» at the Université Bordeaux I (France) since 2001. He is a thermal process analyst and designer at Valtech Energy.
The first 20 years of his professional career involved him in the preparation of plant shutdowns and the provision of engineering services related to the installation of process fluid networks, particularly in the petrochemical sector.
For 16 years, he has specialized in the thermal analysis of industrial processes and their energy optimization. He has demonstrated the cost-effectiveness of many major projects to optimise thermal power stations and process equipment such as furnaces and industrial dryers. He is involved throughout the design process of energy efficiency projects, and also during their commissioning.
Vincent Restieri, P.Eng.
Vincent Restieri, P.Eng., holds a degree in mechanical engineering from École Polytechnique de Montréal since 2007. He is a case manager and designer at Valtech Energy.
Over the past nine years, he has been involved in the design and implementation of numerous major industrial projects, in connection with the design and installation of specialized equipment, the optimization of energy performance and the conformity of industrial processes and equipment.
He also carried out numerous design reviews of existing facilities, with the aim of optimizing their operating conditions, identifying the most relevant optimization strategies and ensuring their compliance. Vincent has also been involved in the design and development of many technologies in the field of industrial combustion and thermal processes.
Samuel Gaudet, P.Eng., M.Sc.A
Samuel Gaudet, P.Eng., M.Sc.A, holds a degree in mechanical engineering from École Polytechnique de Montréal since 2016. He also holds a master’s degree in applied science in numerical simulation (CFD) from the same institution.
He is CFD/CAD Case Manager at Valtech Energy. He has participated in numerous studies of fluid dynamics (CFD) in various industrial processes.
Over the past three years, Samuel has been involved in the design and execution of many major industrial projects, related to the design and installation of specialized equipment, the optimization of energy performance and the conformity of industrial processes and equipment.
Camille Esper Absi
Camille Esper Absi, is a graduate of HEC Montréal specializing in Marketing and Management. He is in charge of business development and the design of the marketing plan of the company, the promotion on social media, updating of the website, writing of company promotional materials, prospecting and creating and maintaining customer databases.
